Abstract

|
Hyupgiltongui was a book of the Myungri science in the Joseon Dynasty period. The book was chosen as a subject of the old state examination(gwageo) for pick out government official. But in the Korea of today Myungri science scholars or fortune?tellers do not recognize the value of this book. And they do not make effort to indagate it. We are not looking for autochthonic logic of Korean Myungri theory(Myungri science, Feng shui, Calendar etc.). Therefore we are going to overcome of its limitation through a study of Hyupgiltongui’s compilation.
